Picnic for a Sunset

Tonight we caught the sunset.  And it was magical.  In order to make it on time, we packed up a picnic of tinfoil-wrapped sundried tomato, mozzerella and basil bugers, yam fries and various other goodies, including iced tea, in our little basket.  We gathered up the kidlets and took off for the nearby beach where we could park ourselves, chow down and enjoy the sunset.

We arrived just as the sun was at it's most glorious and witnessed the pelicans diving in troves into the Gulf which was lit up in the warmth of the evening light.  And while we did get a mouthful of sand or two, a few spills and some shivers (once the sun went down), we all agreed it was well worth it.
